In the article, the author examines the main theories of the Genesis of the Eastern Slavs state and the role in their formation, updating and popularization of a number of historical sources of material, visual, as well as written (narrative) and other types found during archaeological work in one of the largest and oldest cities of Russia – Novgorod.

In the article the methods of using lean production tools for elimination of each kind of waste are considered. The reasons of waste occurrence and consequences to which they lead are determined. Recommendations for elimination of waste for garment production are suggested.

In this paper, the authors theorize that all planets rotate about their axis due to their satellites. The planet and its satellite are interconnected by a shared gravity, which moves along the surface of the planet as the result of the satellite moving in an orbit. The discussed movement of gravity applies to all planets and the Sun. The shared gravity is at its maximum on the Earth and Sun surface. Based on this theory, the paper discusses causes for global warming. The hypothesis of the Earth’s crust being a cause for global warming is analyzed. In addition, an analysis of Friedmann’s theory in terms of possible galactic velocities is presented in the article.

The article is devoted to the consideration of methods of lean production in relation to mechanical-engineering enterprises; the main key indicators of efficiency, productivity and key performance indicators (KPI), their similarities and differences. The key performance indicators, the most preferred in the analysis and management of production at mechanical-engineering enterprises, are defined in the article.

Modern shipbuilding is a diversified industry, which includes the construction of ship hulls, machinery and equipment, as well as a number of related products. Shipbuilding is characterized by unfavorable working conditions, the presence of dangerous and harmful factors leading to work–related injuries, general and occupational morbidity. In given article the technique of planning of carrying out of research and development on the basis of the volume determined models is described. Basically, the problems concerning top level of hierarchy, namely, problems of definition of the schedule chart of realization of the basic stages of research and development and volumes of expenses necessary for it are considered. The most effective and modern approach to realization of such substantiation is use of mathematical models. It is thus essential that the models applied to the decision of problems of this level, should consider not only internal properties of the enterprise are models of its organizational system, but also consider with accessible completeness of property of environment of the enterprise. As this completeness is rather limited, in view of incompleteness of the information on properties of environment of the enterprise, the planning technique should provide possibility of correction of planned offers, their recalculation under the specified data.

The purpose of the study was to compare skills of mental imagery among cadets and juniors of the Greco-Roman wrestling. To achieve this goal Bump questionnaire was used as an instrument to measure the level of skills for creating mental images in the practice of an athlete. The results showed that juniors in Greco-Roman wrestling scored higher in the skills “Creating the mood of images” and “Control of the formation of images” than cadets.
