The article includes the results of ethnocultural analysis from the point of its transmission considering the semantic difference between the Russian and the English language.

The article explores different aspects of the concept «stupidity» presented in Russian and Vietnamese phraseology, proverbs and sayings. Based on the comparative analysis of Russian and Vietnamese stable expressions, united by the concept «stupidity», it is concluded that in most characteristics the understanding of this concept in Russian and Vietnamese coincide. The most important non-matching characteristic of the concept «stupidity» is that Russian linguoculture is characterized by ambivalent understanding of stupidity, in the light of which stupidity can be a phenomenon closely related to cunning, and Vietnamese linguoculture is characterized by a more unambiguous assessment of stupidity.

In the article, in the case of phraseology of the thematic group «Mind-stupidity», various methodological developments are presented that contribute to better assimilation of this group of stable expressions in the Vietnamese audience. Special emphasis is placed on exercises based on a transfer method, designed to teach Russian in a Vietnamese audience by Vietnamese teachers.

This article analyzes the functioning of the Internet in the modern Runet slogans, as well as the definition of their role in the political discourse of language as an effective means of manipulating public consciousness. The analysis shows that in Runet among numerous idiomatic means of expression were specific slogan to the online space, which carry socially significant meaning. These Internet slogans are insulated public opinion, civic position that undoubtedly debarking of the most powerful means of social influence and social manipulation.

Phraseology enjoys a wide representation in today’s texts of the military-political discourse. Phraseological units are indispensable of metaphoricity that imparts a special expression and unique peculiarity to journalistic genre. Many people do not understand the meaning of idioms, their need for consumption, their origin, their meaning. The modern generation is difficult to understand those riches, which left them ancestors, who put back his great history, its traditions, orders. The methods by which we use to undertake the work, it is theoretical learning about idioms. After doing the work we have seen that idioms do reflect the history, life and traditions of its people.

This article is devoted to the analysis of stable units of Russian and English phraseology from the point of view of taking into account the structural features of the language system in translation.
