In this article the author analyzes the most common means of forming the semantics of nominations for perfumery and scents based on a conceptual metaphor. It should be noted that the stylistic coloring of nominations can be different: from neutral to colloquial (slang). Particular attention is paid to nominations related to the representation of the concept “Alcohol” in perfumery. Lexical units of the English and French languages were used in this analysis. The total number of lexical units is 300 units.

The article considers the essence and content of the concept of "religious traditionalism" from the point of view of modern social philosophy. The work focuses on the need of mainstreaming this kind of researches and perspectives of study of this sector for the socially oriented sciences.

Collected regionalisms complement «the Dictionary of regionalisms» in the city of Yekaterinburg under the editorship of T.V. Popova. Regionalisms acquaint residents and visitors of Yekaterinburg with conversation, modern language.

In the article, based on the analysis of the folk hunting speech of Yakutia, a characteristic of the lexical and semantic features of its vocabulary is given, traditional and modern nominations of the realities of the hunting subculture are considered. Particular attention is paid to the names of hunting devices, rituals, taboo vocabulary.

The proposed paper deals with the results of a sociological survey conducted in 2015 among the population identifying themselves as followers of the Christian faith in Ust-Kut city, Irkutsk region. It describes the demographic composition of those surveyed and analyzes preliminary data from the study. As the results show, there is a religious illiteracy among the followers of the Orthodox denomination, and commitment to all sorts of religious practices shall be declared more decorative rather than a deep awareness of the principles and tenets of faith. It is concluded that this may lead to the almost complete exclusion of the faith and to the entropy of society in the future.

The article deals with the analysis of advertising messages frame during the XX-XXI centuries. The analysis allows to highlight a typology of modifications that are found in loss or update the information about a particular quality of the goods. The dynamics of such phenomenon can be traced by the example of the frame of the XX-XXI centuries "beer".

The article is devoted to the description of language issues displaying the influence of Irish language to Hiberno-English used in Ireland. It concerns the vocabulary noted in dictionaries of Hiberno-English.

The Old Russian literary language of complex nature arose under the Old Slavic language influence that can be seen on the example of a small lexical group of the nominations of females. 28% of the words are of the Old Slavic origin and have meanings that correlate with the ideas of Christianity and determine the Chriatian gender stereotype, reflected in the Old Russian texts.
