The article deals with the problem of stray dogs and their influence on surrounding world. The authors discuss the question of stray dogs distribution in Tekstilshik settlement, Chita, Transbaikal region. The investigation results are represented: main aglomeration places are detected, the dogs are counted, their gender structure is found out by an observation method.
