This article describes the principles of assessing the vulnerability of buildings from landslides based on simulation. Approaches to the interpretation of the results of such modeling for vulnerability assessments are substantiated. The analysis of simulation results for different variants of landslides impact on buildings of different structures is carried out. Curves of vulnerability of buildings from landslides of different sizes are constructed. Vulnerability values can be used in risk assessments as part of engineering-geological surveys and other types of work.

The potential of the discipline «Russian as a foreign language» has been revealed in achieving the goals of organizing a multicultural environment through means of interethnic and ethno-cultural communication, taking into account its main components, among which special attention is given to discursive and strategic aspects. The main characteristics of skills and competences whose development is mediated by didactic-methodological means of the discipline «Russian as a foreign language» with a more profound mastery of the language of the specialty, taking into account the features of interethnic and ethno-cultural communication, are revealed. Their importance for successful professional socialization in conditions of interaction and cooperation of regions is shown.

The article deals with the role of staff training for the tourism industry, the analysis of directions of preparation in higher educational institutions and specialties in secondary special educational institutions is given. The analysis of existing educational programs is given; the main problems of training personnel for tourism, the poor quality of practical training of students, the need to improve the educational process in terms of improving educational programs, the introduction of new technologies and methods for teaching students, the organization of professional training of teachers, the quality of textbooks and teaching aids, the need for introduction of new technologies in the educational process are represented.

The essence, functions and possibilities of using visualization in the learning process are studied in the article. The authors note that visualization is a modern effective mean of increasing the level of information perception in students and allows us to solve a number of pedagogical problems.

Authors focused on study of small communities of the social network Vkontakte. For this purpose, specialized program for collecting open data from such communities was developed, which is available in the public domain. The program is easy to use and allows you to collect data about the participants and calculate basic metrics of small communities. The output format is organized in a such way that it can be used without any additional processing in the program for analysis and visualization of networks – Gephi, which significantly enhances the capabilities of researchers. Numerical simulations were made to demonstrate features of the program.

In their conception the authors seek to prove that all planets revolve around their axes because of their satellites influence. In the article, in detail, gradually by the points (by logical steps), it is proved that the Moon rotates the Earth around its own axis, and that the Earth keeps the Moon strictly in such state, not allowing it to turn to us by other side (All satellites, more than 150, are in the same rigid stable state – are dependent on their planets.) And all the satellites in the Solar System are spinning around their axes from their satellites. The Earth and the Moon in this matter are not original. Researchers give evidence of a lack of a thermonuclear reaction to the stars. And they prove that the energy of solar radiation is electrical energy, not thermonuclear. And sunspots are not magnetic fields.

The graphs of cylinder-piston group’s temperature dependences on the changes of the engine speed are presented in this article. Experimental researches show, while using different working masses in pumping section it is possible to decrease cylinder-piston group’s temperature.

The article concerns the issues of trashing flaps of mung bean, technology of harvesting, the construction, producing thrashing of the flaps is proposed. Existing three methods of threshing mach culture are presented and analyzed as well as ways of thrashing are described. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are overseen. According to the patent study the most appropriate device for thrashing of this culture is pointed out. According to studied properties and characteristics of the leaves and mung beans, a new method of threshing  mung bean flaps based on the features of this culture is proposed.

The article represents an option of shared use of the solar energy equipment and traditional thermal equipment, which allows system to work from single heating room, and from solar energy in combined form. The graphs of the results of solar power measurements on different surfaces are represented. The formula obtained on the basis of measurements is given, which makes it possible to calculate the solar energy received per day.

An attempt to specify the typology of female images in the novels of I.S. Turgenev is made in the article. Three main variations are revealed: "Turgenev`s girl", possessing high spirituality, purity, strength of character; "infernal woman," having something magic, correlated in the works of the writer with the motive of love-power; a woman-mother, in which, on the one hand, the features of the lady mistress of the aristocratic estate, hungry for adoration, worship, which carries a shade of falsehood, are pointed out, and on the other hand, the mother of the family, giving her relatives warmth and love. However, all female images are described with psychological realness and depth.

The article examines capabilities of Russian zoophonic verbs (those describing sounds produced by animals) to create semantic modifications. Using the appending inventory of zoophonic verbal modifications from novel sources, previously unused in lexicographic practices, the open (infinite) nature of semantic modifications’ domain, its composition and the fluidity of its lacuna zones are shown. The structure of zoophonic verbal modifications is examined; verbal modifiers, non-typical for this lexical-semantic group of verbs, are inventoried. The obstacles to successful production of semantically modified derivatives during different stages of synthesis are classified by several criteria: denotative, semantic, and distributive. The research findings demonstrate the peculiarities of Russian zoophonic verbs’ behavior as well as map out their modification capabilities during the process of synthesis.

The application of the modeling technique allowed to reveal the organization specifics of analytical interviews on the German radio station of the «DeutschlandRadio» of the talk format, which is based on: the level of competence of the interlocutor/interlocutors, confirmation of the status of the expert interlocutors, the predetermination of the functions and behavioral actions of the journalist, the openness of the analysis process and demonstration of logical reasoning with an emphasis on the causes and consequences of the analyzed phenomenon.

Foreign direct investment has a significant impact on the development of the Russian economy. This article is devoted to the illegal seizure of a vehicle without intent to theft it. The constructive elements of the crime are analyzed, namely, the subject, the patrimonial, specific and direct object of the crime provided by Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Attention is paid to the reasons of the spread of this type of criminal assault in the conditions of the modern criminal situation. The relevance of the chosen topic in the context of Russian criminal law is explained.
